Star Anise is a relatively new outlet of the Isthmus group which has set up a number of restaurants in Melbourne, & in KL the Chili Espresso cafes. We offer urban, well balanced & nutritious food for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Our eatery provides affordable quality food in a well designed ambience. The cooking emphasizes healthy food by low fat grilling, baking & roasting. We offer items like homemade pies, wraps, wholemeal sandwiches, pizza & a variety of house made rolls of different grains. The bread & pastries are baked daily to maintain freshness. We also offer ¡°breakfast on the go¡± with a daily selection of sandwiches and pastries.

The interior & furniture are designed with solid recycled timber & metal reclaimed from old warehouses. This achieves a warm, organic & friendly space for interaction & dialogue to escape the stressful work place for a moment.
We are passionate about our coffee. Nothing compares to the alluring aroma of freshly ground beans. We have created our own blend for you to enjoy your perfect cup of coffee!
